is the first in our continuing series of home dec. projects. We will be discussing measuring, fabric requirements, hems, sleeves,

Purse Thursday
September 25 9:30 –
3:30 $35.00 Need a purse for fall or winter?
Now is the time to make one with your choice of fabric. This purse has multiple outside and inside pockets. Take this class
for the basis purse and your next purse can be a different size or with trim or flaps on the pockets. And
there is no pattern to purchase. To take this class, you should be familiar with your walking foot and zipper foot

Contemporary Needle Lace Tuesday September 30 9:30 – 3:30 $50.00 This workshop allows students to produce a rich monochromatic texture of threads.
Students learn to do needle lace without stabilizer, fabric slashing, free motion eyelet's, cutwork, tatting by machine,
and sparkle stitch. They will produce a small spring stitchery combining these techniques. Instructor: Pat Rodgers

that will feature many different jackets that you’ll learn to construct. This session will feature a strippy scrap jacket.
It is a great project for the quilter to incorporate their skills into a garment and it’s also a great project for the

Quilted Tote Bag Thursday November 6 9:30 – 3:30 $30.00 Time again to think of Christmas presents, so why not a personalized
quilted tote bag. These totes make great gifts and can be of your favorite fabric. And you can shop with it at Sew ‘N
Place. The bag has multiple inside and outside pockets. In order to have a finished tote by the end of class, you will have
to have your fabric quilted prior to class. Directions for this portion are on the supply list that you get when you sign

original fabric to make a 16” by 16” fashion pillow. Select a light background fabric, you'll learn to enhance with surface design techniques
including natural leaf printing and stamping with fabric paints (I’ll
provide art materials).You’ll make customized cording, free motion quilt around
