Celtic Critters Tuesdays May 2, 9
& 16 1:00 – 4:00 $40.00 (Shading coloring part of the class on May 16th can be taken separately for $25.00)
This class will include learning how to use the product Stable Magic and washable glue stick to prepare appliqué.
The pattern is a combination of Celtic knot design and what I call a “Critter”. This
is a good beginner class. The last class Linda will teach you how to add color to your fabric artwork to
give it dimension with the use of many different types of paints, markers, pencils, crayons, etc. You can
use this on the “Critter” that we will be making in the first sessions or you can just take the last class and
have fun and learn how to use color on fabric. No special materials are required as we will experiment
or play with different mediums that will be provided in class. A resource list will be given in class and
you can consider purchasing whatever interests you. No previous art experience is needed. Instructors: Dottie Moreland & Linda Schwalm

County Rose Buds Tuesday May 10 9:00 – 3:00 $25.00 The beautiful stained glass designs and stained glass windows that we see in churches,
public institutions, and even in home decorating can be replicated in quilting. The glass is replaced by wonderful representative
fabrics and the ‘leading’ by bias tapes. I have developed a unique process that is simple and gives a soft, fluid
quilt. This is a great way to create striking designs in fabric. Instructor: Carol Blevins

Flower Pot Tuesday May 24 & 31 1:00 – 4:00 $35.00 Use up lots of scraps making this simple and fun quilt.
In the first class, we’ll cut the blocks and most of the other quilt pieces using the AccuQuilt GO! cutter. You’ll
have a week to do the piecing and in the second class, we’ll cover the appliqué and finishing. The required
pattern also includes template patterns for all the pieces so that the quilt can also be made without the GO! cutter.
