carve stamping materials to create a stamp that we will print repeatedly onto fabric to produce a layered composition. We

– 8:00 $45.00 If you would like to try something
different than a traditional quilt block, this is the class for you. Hexagons cut from the same fabric
will end up as varied as a kaleidoscope. Students will be making a small wall hanging similar to the one
found on page 72 of Magic Stack ‘n Whack Quilts by Bethany S. Reynolds, only using 8 hexagons instead of the 18 shown.
By making the small size, the technique can easily be learned and the project will less likely become another UFO.

so that you can expand on this pattern to cover other seasons & holidays. The center is accented by a bias

Beading on Machine Monday August 16 9:30 – 3:30 $45.00 Each student will choose a collection of different sizes and textures of beads in color scheme.
Using only a straight stitch free motion machine stitch, you’ll learn to embellish your one of a kind amulet bag with
single beads, strung beads, individual sequins, strung sequins and a flat back. You’ll not only learn the secrets to

Wedding Star pattern but want something a little different, then this class is for you. This quilt puts
the Double Wedding Ring pattern together with a beautiful star to give a new look to an old pattern. We
will be making a wall hanging size quilt in the class but by making more of the components you can make a larger quilt later.
We will be paper piecing the sections of the pattern and then sewing them together. If you can use
a sewing machine you can make this beautiful quilt. Instructor:

Appliqué the easy way with Stable Magic, and have a great time while creating it. Stable Magic instruction, machine
appliqué, and free motion quilting techniques will be included in this class. This is a good opportunity to use up
those loud prints in your stash that you didn’t have particular plans for, or any idea how to use them. Be prepared

Pat’s Way Monday August 30 9:30 – 3:30 $40.00 This is my way of appliqué! No more cutting little shapes and
fitting them back together! This is an easy way to do any published appliqué pattern quicker and is produces a soft
result because there is no fusing. It’s great for garments too! We will produce a small project that could be incorporated
