Have you purchased a quilting machine
and are perplexed about how to use it and what it can be used for? You’re told to practice, but what should you practice?
Do you have a QBOT and need assistance understanding its capabilities? This class is for you.
In this class, you will
receive demonstration and hands on practice in various exercises and techniques to help you master that “monster in
your sewing room”. You will receive handouts that will give you ideas to make your quilting experience more enjoyable
and the results more beautiful. You’ll learn how to use the QBOT software to suit your needs and enhance your quilts.
There is more to using the QBOT than just that little box on the top of your machine. You can use it to design your own patterns,
scan or trace from books, etc. This will be demonstrated in class. If you purchased your longarm/midarm machine at The Sew’n
Place, this basic class is free. If you purchased elsewhere, the class is $40.00.
If you feel you’re ready for a more in depth class, you can
make arrangements for more skill building with Debbie at your own convenience. The fee for these 2 hour sessions are $40.00.
