Class Miyabi Basics - Fayetteville
In this two-part class you will learn the basics of your Juki Miyabi Longarm machine. We will cover how to load your quilt onto the frame, thread the machine, wind bobbins, insert the bobbin, tension, attaching the ruler base, basic quilting techniques, general maintenance, and more. You will have hands on experience using our store machine. In our second class, you will bring in some homework that you've used your new skills to complete and be able to ask questions that arose while working on it.

Requirements: | You should already have your Juki Miyabi longarm machine delivered, set up, and ready for you to go home and use your new skills. :) You will have some prep work to create an easy sample to practice on. Come on into the store to pick up your instructions and fabrics in enough time to have this practice piece ready to quilt on right after our first class. You will need 1/2 yard each of two different solids, an additional yard of solid for the backing, and batting. You will need additional fabric if you choose to bind your practice piece.
