Class Next Steps in Longarm Quilting - Fayetteville
Now that you know your machine, it's time to learn the next steps in longarm quilting!
New to longarm quilting? Join us for two sessions where we will touch on some basics to help build your skills and confidence. During our time together, we'll touch on the following topics:
How to practice basic shapes and build muscle memory; Tips for all over, edge-to-edge designs; Using pantographs for instant success; Basics of using rulers; Choosing thread, batting and more.
The following will be helpful to have:
- An Artist's Sketchbook
- 18"X20" (approximate) white board and dry erase pens
- About 6 yards of inexpensive "practice fabric". Preferably a solid color. Muslin is fine.
- Batting for your practice quilt. A throw or twin size should be fine
