717-352-3050Class Serger 101 - Fayetteville
| In this class you will learn to use a 4 thread serger. You will learn how to thread, how to identify the upper looper from the lower looper and when (or why) to adjust which looper tension or the cutting width. Once the basic 4 thread is mastered, we will work with 3 thread stitches and discuss differential feed. You will complete samples to take home with you. Along with your serger, you will need to bring the instruction manual, all tools that came with the serger and 4 different colors of serger thread (to match the color coding of the 4 tension dials). I Minimum 3 Maximum 6 for this class. Our teachers work very hard preparing for class and to do so properly, they need to have a head count a couple of weeks before the class begins. Because all class fees go to our teachers, we cannot refund class fees if you do not show up for a class or if you cancel less than 1 week before the start of the class. |
