Class Epic Club, plus - Chapter 10 - Fayetteville

What can we do with our “Epic” machines?!  There's so much that our Husqvarna Viking Designer Epic, Epic 2, Sapphire 85 and Brilliance 80 machines can do!  If you own one of these machines, this club is for you.  :)  We meet monthly to work through the chapters of the Epic workbook, taking it one chapter at a time.  We take an in-depth exploration and review the top features of our top of the line machines.  Each month we build a deeper knowledge of all that these machines can do.  It’s never too late to participate!  Join in for the techniques you’re interested in and skip the ones that aren’t for you.  If there are three or more people interested in a repeat of a previous month, I’d be happy to schedule it with you.

Skill Level: Intermediate
Skill Details: You need to have an HV Designer Epic, Epic 2, Sapphire 85 OR Brilliance 80 machine and be familiar with the basic use of navigating through the menus of the machine. Skill levels vary in class. This means that some students may finish the project in class & some may take it home to finish. The majority of projects will need some follow up at home. If you are uncomfortable with finishing up the project on your own at home, let?s talk about it and schedule some time to finish it up together.
Materials Included: It will be helpful to have a binder dedicated to this class to create a workbook of the techniques you learn. You will receive a cut list prior to class.
Requirements: In addition to your machine and the embroidery unit, you will want to bring a basic kit of sewing supplies to each class. Items you may need are: scissors, snips, pins, quilt clips, marking tools, needles, screwdriver, the feet for your machine, sewing thread, embroidery thread, your embroidery hoops, filled bobbins, a seam ripper in case a friend needs it, etc... For the June project you will need: - several scraps of fabric to practice on - ? yard of tone on tone main fabric - ? yard of lining fabric - 14? zipper or longer - 1 yard medium weight 20?wide fusible interfacing - sewing thread - embroidery thread - two bobbins of bobbin fill - Open toe foot will be helpful This supply list is for making the zipper bag. If you?d prefer to create something else with your newly learned technique, your supply list may vary from this. Please, be sure to bring the supplies that you?ll need. Please, reach out to me if you have any questions!! I'm always happy to help. :) You can reach me via email at annaloves2create@gmail.com.
