- Aunties Two Patterns Poppins Bag pattern with metal stays
- See back of pattern for fabric requirements
- Bosal’s IN-R-Form Plus (58” wide) 1 yard
- Stiff double-sided fusible interfacing (20” wide) ¾ yard
- Bosal’s Craf-tex or Pellon Peltex 72F
- ¼” plumbing tubing for handles
- I bought a package of 10 ft with OD ¼” at Lowes
- 30” handbag zipper with double slides
- Piecing thread to match fabric
- Quilting thread
- Monofilament thread
- 12 wt cotton thread (used to sew bottom to bag)
- Wonderfil Spagetti 12 wt Egyptian Cotton (available at The Sew’n Place)
- Sewing machine with walking foot (Featherweight machine will not work for this project)
- Size 90 sewing machine needle
- Parchment paper or Teflon applique sheet
- Removable marker (Frixion pen, chalk)
- Scissors
- Pins
- Seam ripper
- Hand sewing needle
- Bagged lunch
