Class Morning Tea and English Paper Piecing - August, at The Sew'n Place/Sew'n Sleep Retreat Center - Fayetteville
Finished size: 41” x 41”
Papers, pattern, and a beverage from Caledonia Cafe will be provided.
Supply list:
- 1 3/8 yard main fabric (amount of fabric needed will vary depending on the fabric design, “busy” fabrics with multiple designs work best for this project)
- ¾ yard coordinating fabric (cornerstones, binding, flanges)
- 1 1/3 yard border fabric (a solid fabric or small print fabric)
- Thread to match fabric for EPP (I used a 50 weight thread)
- Thread to match for applique
- 1” square template (available at The Sew’n Place, same template used for Lucy Boston Patchwork of the Crosses)
- 1” elongated hexagon template (available at The Sew’n Place, same template used for Lucy Boston Patchwork of the Crosses)
- Scissors
- Marking pen
- Needle (I use John James Sharps 3/9 or Milliners needle and Chenille #22)
- Glue stick

Requirements: | In August, we will begin a “Fussy Cut Table Topper.” The table topper features a center design made of individual crosses that are fussy cut to highlight different designs from one fabric. The design is reminiscent of a “stack-n-whack” design. Finished size: 41” x 41” Papers, pattern, and a beverage from Caledonia Cafe will be provided.
