| Instructor Bio: | Sherri Kennedy has been rubber stamping since her children were young; however, she became much more serious about the craft during the late-90’s when she was tasked with creating wellness events for her “work family,” the staff of a large middle school in central Maryland. The joy she experienced from teaching her colleagues and the enthusiasm she brought to the classroom led to more opportunities to share her talents; and now, 30 years later, her list of accomplishments is pretty satisfying! Sherri has taught stamping to students in after-school programs; led volunteer groups making cards for deployed soldiers; taught church groups and Red Hats; showed young children at summer camps how to stamp with building blocks and veggies; formed stamping clubs in the neighborhoods and communities where she’s lived; given classes at local libraries and corporate meeting rooms; planned over a dozen multi-day “stamping retreats” for other stamping enthusiasts; and most importantly, continues to share her love of stamping with friends, new and old, who meet regularly to do stamping projects and fawn over each other’s latest creations. Sherri has been an independent sales demonstrator with Stampin’ Up!® since 2000. She’s been invited into homes and venues across Ohio, Pennsylvania, Delaware, Florida, Virginia, and Maryland, and enjoys sharing her extensive knowledge of the company’s paper crafting line with her customers. She has been a featured artist in crafting cohorts, collaborations, and craft fairs. Sherri’s calm demeanor and eye for detail put paper crafters of all ages and experience levels at ease. Beyond her focus on sharing projects that are unique and educational, Sherri wants participants to leave her sessions feeling more connected to a supportive community of creatives! |
