The construction of the trivet is done with hand-stitches and does not require a sewing machine. The binding can be applied using a sewing machine, if you wish to bring your own. I will have my machine to demonstrate how this is done.
This design uses the measure and cut method. This means there are no pattern pieces to trace, you simply cut the materials to dimensions shown on the Kit Material list. The number in parentheses indicates the number of pieces of each dimension you need to cut. The design is not suited for printed fabrics that run one way or have a large print.
You will receive the Material Kit and instructions for the trivet in class. Items you wish to purchase from Sew 'N Place will receive a 15% discount.
