A fun, quick and easy heirloom baby gift will be all tied up as you master several serger techniques during the creation of this quilt. Gingham check or colorful borders and two-color solid bow-tie corner blocks frame the center panel fancy band made of Victorian embroidered insertion, beading threaded with fabric ribbon created on your serger, and serger pintucks. Your gift will be treasured for years to come.

| Skill Details: | Must be familiar enough with your serger to be able to change settings from overcast to rolled hem. Please bring your serger manual with you. |

| Requirements: | Fabric A - 1/2 yard of 60" wide or 3/4 yard of 44/45" wide (used for binding, now-tie blocks, side back borders) Fabric B - 1/2 yard of 60" wide or 3/4 yard of 44/45" wide (used for fabric ribbon, top & bottom boarders, side front borders) Fabric C - 2 1/4 yard of white (used for quilt center, center back, bow-tie blocks, top and bottom back boarders, center front lining and center back) Baby size batting Embroidery thread to match main color for serger pintucks Three spools white serger thread. |

| Instructor Bio: | Instructor - Tamra Martin. Tamra started sewing at a young age with her Mom guiding her making Barbie clothes. She was re-introduced to sewing when her children were small and they needed special occasion clothes. Although her first passion is heirloom sewing, she also quilts, has done home dec and clothing for herself and her children. She is a licensed Martha Pullen instructor. The goal of her classes is to teach new techniques while having fun! |
