This is a great class for the beginner or newer quilter.
I will be spending a lot of time covering a lot of basic skills including how to read a pattern, accurate cutting and piecing. The class fee is for instruction only.
Please see the supply list below for full details on what you will need. There will be homework after the first class.
We need a minimum of 4 people in order to hold this class so invite a sewing friend!

| Requirements: | - Sewing machine in good working order - Basic sewing supplies (Threads, needles, PINS, scissors, Seam Ripper etc.) - 2 Rulers - 1 12.5" X 12.5" and one long ruler Example 24" X 6" or 6.6" - Rotary cutter with new blade. - Larger Cutting Mat at least 24" X 26" (we have cutting mats in the classroom but if we have a big class more mats would be better) - 1 yard each of three different fabrics. (We sell 3-yard bundles if you are having troubles deciding) - You will need the book "Quilts in a Jiffy" 3-yard quilts by Donna Robertson We will be doing the "Crossroads" pattern. Minimum of 4 people are required for this class. If you have any questions, please feel free to call the store. |
