This Summer's projects are:
1. A change with a zipper made with cork to hold key/or money.
2. A wristlet -style zippered pouch . Fabric to be quilted.
3. Reversible apron. Choice of design. Pattern available for purchase at the store. (Mary Mulari- Little Sister and Brother aprons.)
A kit will be provided for the coin purse and the zippered pouch wristlet (includes cork, zipper, fabric & batting).
Supplies for the Apron:
2 yards of fabric
coordinating thread
Little Sister and Brother Apron pattern.
You will also need Miscellaneous Supplies:
- Clear view ruler
- Seam Ripper
- Magnet seam guide
- Scissors
- Straight pins
- Sewing machine needles
- Chalk marking pencil
*** Students receive a 15% discount in store for class supplies
| Skill Level: | Beginner |
| Skill Details: | Student should bring their own sewing machine. A notebook of basic skills will be provided to cover machine usage. Handouts will explain seam allowances, trimming, pattern layouts. |
| Materials Included: | A kit for the two zippered pouches will be provided. Included in class fee. The apron pattern and fabric to be purchased separately |
| Requirements: | Student must bring their own machine, scissors, thread and pins. A magnetic seam guide and seam ripper are recommended. Students should bring all feet that came with their machine. A zipper foot will be used in addition to the multipurpose foot. Students receive 15% off class items purchased at Sew'N Place. |
