Class Intro to Smocking

Discover the timeless art of smocking in this beginner-friendly course designed for those new to hand embroidery and fabric manipulation. We will cover an overview of smocking techniques and learn different stitches. Different pleating techniques will be discussed as well.

| Requirements: | Most materials will be provided. If you have #6, #7, or #8 crewel embroidery needles, please bring one and a needle threader. |

| Instructor Bio: | Tamra started sewing at a young age with her Mom guiding her making Barbie clothes. She was re-introduced to sewing when her children were small and they needed special occasion clothes. Although her first passion is heirloom sewing, she also quilts, has done home dec and clothing for herself and her children. She is a licensed Martha Pullen instructor. The goal of her classes is to teach new techniques while having fun! |
